And his most famous innovation, the R160 Contour Chair is not truly complete without its partner: the Ottoman. The TITAHOT version is made to the exact specifications of the original, allowing the sitter to enjoy their chair in perfect comfort. The legs are made from ash wood. The chair comes in a choice of several colours including the popular Turkish blue.

    Grant Featherston designed his Ottoman as a partner for his seminal Contour Chair, continuing the theme of natural curves and forms that were adapted to the human shape. Seen as the most iconic design in the history of Australian furniture, the combination of chair and ottoman are as perfect a match today as they were in 1951.
